How to Tell if a Person is White Supremacist, Only Racist, or Simply Prejudiced

When I first read the words that Dr. King spoke in 1963 at the Lincoln Memorial that by then was known as his "I Have a Dream" speech, I did not imagine that his words about judging people by the "content of their character" rather than "the color of their skin" would still be something that is debatable almost six decades later.

With current events so reminiscent of the unrest of the citizenry over civil rights and the Vietnam War from the days of my youth, I am able to apply experience that young people cannot have with a youthful immaturity that I refuse to relinquish. What that means is that I have been able to adapt my thinking to retain the messages that were given to us in music like For What It's Worth, rather than to become a person of whom young people need to beware.

However, it seems I have both friends and relatives worthy of being despised by young people. They've gone from being the spat upon to being those who spit upon the young people who are quite aware of what they're going through as they try to change their worlds.

Avoiding Facebook Jail and My Friend Bryan

My friend Bryan seems to have this recurring problem lately of ending up in Facebook jail. If you don't know what that is, it's a large social media website that was created by Mark Zuckerberg.

It turns out that Bryan keeps getting put into jail because he is racist. I don't want to anyone to get the wrong impression, though. He is racist in the positive sense of the word, which is that he is racist like I am racist. As long as we agree on what is acceptable racism, Bryan is okay in my book.

The type of racism Bryan and I agree upon is that we both despise white people who despise people who aren't white. However, Bryan is not as philosophical as I am, and he just blurts things out that violate the rules regarding hate speech. Calling people names based on their races is racist hate speech even if they are stereotypical white right-wing tea party warmongers.

It is Time to Replace "Uncle Tom and Aunt Sally" with "Uncle Clarence and Aunt Ginni"

Culture evolves, and it is time for the culture that coined the terms "Uncle Tom" and "Aunt Sally" to be better understood so that it can rightfully evolve. Both the terms Uncle Tom and Aunt Sally refer to Black people who aid and protect white people in order to gain personal favor within white society.

The term "Uncle Tom" is based upon the main character in Harriet Beecher Stowe's novel 'Uncle Tom's Cabin.' Stowe's novel is about a Black man named Tom who jumps from a paddle wheeler to rescue the daughter of a rich white man. As a reward for saving his daughter, the white man purchases him at a slave auction, and allows Tom to live with him and his daughter as her Uncle Tom.

The white man's son betrays his father's will to free Tom when he died. He instead sells him to the infamous Simon Legree, who eventually murders Tom for disobeying his order to beat some of his fellow enslaved people.

Creator of Dilbert Proves that He is a Real Dick and Not Just a Dildo

I was surprised to learn that my friend who is a published poet, Rocky Caldwell, and I were part of a hate group according to Scott Adams who is the creator of the Dilbert cartoon. I hadn't heard anything about it having spent yesterday away from the computer. After a couple more questions, it turns out that the hate group we belong to is Black people. This upset me because I am not Black.

I had to look up Scott Adams to see what kind of dildo calls Black people a hate group. I read Dilbert if it was in front of me, but I never sought it out. I didn't hate it as a cartoon. I thought some were funnier than others, and there was the occasional profundity. I couldn't have told you who wrote the strip until today.

Anyway, there is a poll that was conducted in which about half the Black people polled "are not okay with white people." To him, that means they are a hate group.
